I'd like some deeper snow, for once. we had some today but it didn't really stick.
send some here.. we have NONE!!! it's just not right for canada i tell ya.
We didn't get even that much today and I was thankful!
A light dusting I could endure but I'm sure we will get our usual mounds and mountains... I'm enjoying a snowless December.
Beautiful photo! But, I like a little more snow than that! Fruitcake-HUGS!
@plantinthewindow - Maybe a tad deeper and then to melt off quickly unless you want to cross country ski but this is suiting me fine for now. Thanks for your comment.
@grace_to_be - Canada and no snow? Must be rather nice. Merry Christmas and thank you for your comment.
@murisopsis - @AdamsWomanFell - I heard on the radio today that only 30% of Iowa's Christmas's have been white so that means 70% have not been....but failed to say how long of time span this included and what particular area of Iowa were they speaking of? Northern Iowa usually gets earlier snow and more of it than we do in southern Iowa. Thank you for your comments, Merry Christmas!
A little dusting, just like you shook it out of a sifter and onto the trees...lovely!
All we've had is rain, rain, rain...and it just makes me sad for all the many around here who already lost everything they had in the big flood. Snow, at least, would give them a break so they can try to rebuild their homes, instead of more rain. I do think that this coming spring and summer will be beautiful though because of all the moisture. SOMETHING good must come from all this rain.
@MadraysGarden - When we had a recent rain the ground wasn't frozen so the earth soaked up every badly needed drop. Flooding and too much rain is dreadful and the mud is terrible but right in this area of Iowa things are doing pretty well weather wise. I hope you stay dry my friend and that you have a grand and Merry Christmas!
even in northcentral Texas -we call that a dusting. lol that is a pretty scene.
