Leaving The Light On For You……
Taking my hike in the morning rather than in the afternoon resulted in seeing the sunrise rather than sunset.
Looks like someone left a light on in this old trailer doesn’t it?
Maybe leaving the lights on in these old cars ran their batteries down so they no longer run?
Maybe not!
Two of our 5 grandsons doing what they like to do. These boys always horse around at home, always, they’re seldom in the same room without punching, tickling, tripping or teasing each other. Much physical contact, laughing and reacting to each other.
Makes for an interesting time with them for sure.

I know what you mean about the boys. We have 4 grandsons. Most of the time they are old enough not to do that anymore but there are times! lol
@TheSunnyC - Guess it shos they like each other doesn’t it?.
Boys will be boys. It does look like someone left the light on.
@oxlorixo - Thanks for the comment.
Love the photos! Those old cars and air stream have certainly seen better days, huh? Wonder what they’d say if they could talk……hmmm… Might be more than we’d care to hear. LOL
@SealedbyGrace - This old trailer has been a puzzlement to me for several years. It sits in a pasture by the woods, so very out of place. The old cars have been ‘junked’ and used for parts or just parked to get out of the way.Oh yes the stories they could tell if only they could. Thanks for your comment.
There is nothing such that a sunrise to enjoy yourself and the old cars and trailer .
The two grand sons on the picture look alike .
Love
Michel
@fauquet - Thank you Michel for your comment. A morning sunrise hike was new to me since I usually go in late afternoon, it is good whenever I go.
lovely post!
Love the light on that trailer!!!
The light’s been so pretty here too, lately.
@andreas_d - thank you Andreas.
@Tempguestbrief - Thank you for your comment.
the old trailer is still there and the cars. Boys will be boys.
@Babyboomerjill - The trailer is about to tip over.Yes boys will be boys and who’d want it any other way? These fellows are such nice guys I couldn’t ask for nicer grandsons.
I admire you for getting up and getting out for a morning hike…I left the house today for the first time since I went to church last Sunday…it was either too cold or I was too tired! We usually have the 5 grandsons here for holidays…I think they have outgrown the fooling around and most sit and watch sports on tv and EAT!
I love that cute little grin those boys have on their faces…such cuties!
If it isn’t physical it is verbal… mostly it is entertaining.
@dingdongdingbat - Thanks for the comment, Happy New Year to you and your family!
@murisopsis - Indeed entertaining for sure! Happy New Year!
@Lucy_or_Ethel - I love to see my sons talk to my mom as adults.
When my youngest was in college and he would talk to my mom on the phone and she still lived at home-Phil would say,”can you ask granny for me cause it takes her 10 minutes for her to understand which grandson I am and then she wants to know why I’m up there and not living with you.”
it was usually that he wanted to store something in her 2 car garage.
@Babyboomerjill - Always a motive maybe LOL. I also loved it when my sons would visit my Mom. Boy Genius would catch and clean some fish to take to her because he knew with G’pa gone she no longer had fresh fish to fry. She loved fried fresh fish and dad had been quite a fisherman.I love to see the respect shown to the older generation…and that would be me now LOL! Hey yes, it’s my turn now!!!
Love your “maybes”!nice pictures. Boys will be boys!
Mom doesn’t want to leave the nursing home anymore so we just visit her and that makes me the oldest here in Texas now if we go to Ca. I’m the 4th oldest.
Happy New Year.
Boys will be boys. You don’t want them any other way.
